Framed Heart

Do you have favorite shapes? I do.  And one of my favorite shapes is the heart shape, making Valentine's day one of my favorite holidays. Today I want to share a heart shaped project I made.

Silver and Gold Heart Project in vintage frame

This gold vintage frame called out to my heart - it needed something small, dimensional, and fancy to showcase.  I created the heart inside simply because I loved this old style frame with domed glass.

Red Button Repurposed Love Sign

To make the heart, I glued silver and gold colored metal hearts to create the larger heart shape.  I used vintage clip earrings with rhinestones, metal heart pins, metal buttons, and even a locket.
