So, I wanted to participate in a blog event called Mosaic Monday. I've admired the pictures on this blog event before, and I wanted to participate with my first blog photo-Mosiac.
I had to sign up with Flickr, create an account, load photos, then go to a website something like Big Huge Labs; figure out how to load my flickr photos to big huge labs, create the mosaic, download the result, and get the result into this blog. All this effort is a little obsessive, don't you think? Or perhaps it is educational. And to think I used to play Majong or do suduku puzzles late at night.
Here is my first attempt - the next one will be with pictures other then my sample pictures. I took these images, but in future mosaics I will probably get rid of the word sample. But enough for tonight.
Visit Mary’s The Little Red House for beautiful photo mosaics from all over.
Happy Monday everyone!

That is a great mosaic. I love what you did with the colours of the leaves.
Love your mosaic today... it's out of the ordinary and eye-catching.... unique and unlike everyone else's. Good job!

lovely job! Great creativity!
Your first attempt is a great success. Love the creative colors.
I take the pics, upload them to my computer, resize & enhance in PaintShop Pro, copy/paste them into a mosaic-sized file, move them around, cut off the excess to create borders... and yes, it IS a lot of work, but I love the creative juices that get going and the community of sharing these every Monday.

I like it!! Welcome to Mosaic Monday!:-)
Excellent and it's your first!?! Beautiful colors and layout. ~Jeanne
Wonderful first mosaic. I did the same as you and then I found out that I already had it on my Picasa link.
Jeanne, Welcome to Mosaic Monday! This is wonderful for a first effort! I love the blues! Did you scan the leaves and then change the color in Photoshop? Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your lovely images at MM. :)
Oh, and you can also download software from Picasa for mosaics. All the photos you publish on your blog are kept in a Picasa web album. That might be another option for you...
