How tragic this was. I hope they will be able to restore the cathedral to its former beauty. Thanks for linking up at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2019/04/beautiful-springtime.html
Mine, too... Thank you for posting Notre Dame's beautiful rosette window. This was one of the first things in my high school French class that I fell in love with from France. Part of this coming week's features at SYS #205, in remembrance, and looking to the future... <3
My heart is broken too...this is a lovely photo of that gorgeous window. Thank God the window survived, and so much more as well. Notre Dame will continue on...
What beauty ! Hope soon they bring it back to it's beauty and splendor, as Europe did with entire cities after WWII. How sad it is indeed. When I was 21 I went to Europe to different countries and when we were in Paris one of the must visits for my mom was Notre Dame. Have a lovely Easter dear friend. Fabby

Such beauty lost! So much irreplaceable!
Beautiful window, So sad for the fire.
Such heart-breaking news! Lovely shot.
All art lovers are dismayed by the news.

Indeed...the world mourns!
The firefighters did an amazing job to save so much.
Great shot! So beautiful and historic. Thanks goodness donations are pouring in and a rebuild is possible with key architecture still in place.
Same. I am grateful no lives were lost and that much of the artwork is still intact, though.
With Love,
Mandy
What a beautiful photo as a tribute. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
It is sad to know the original church is gone :(

Oh me too! I have been going through my old photos...
Thank you for sharing. Thank heavens the stained glass windows were saved.
My post features a hike in the “Issaquah Alps,” Washington State, USA.
Great photo. I, too, shared photos of Notre Dame.

That is such a beautiful photo and something to cherish - I can only hope they rebuild to the original glory. #GlobalBlogging
