(A quick note: Photographing window displays is not easy. You may have noticed weird "ornaments" that look out of place on the tree, like the pinkish star above the word year above. Some of those "ornaments" are actually reflections from a scrolling LED animated sign on the other side of the street - reflecting in the window glass. Reflections are problematic in window display photos.)

P.S. Wait, wait, let's compare trees!

Gorgeous Christmas decorations in the windows. I'd love to be in NYC at Christmas but never made it then.
ReplyDeleteCan just imagine as one thing I love this season is seeing the pretty trees that the stores decorate. Cannot imagine how much all the decorations would cost and they're so lovely. Gets one in the Christmas mood, I think. Love the carols too. Have a happy week.
ReplyDeleteGood for you -Happy you followed your dream. Welcome to All Seasons, and you shared a lovely post - many thanks and hope we will see you often! Dolce and Cabana has excellent taste. No wonder Melania Trump chose this house to dress her:) Have a beautiful rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteThose who decorated this window did a fantastic job! It's definitely 'that' time of year :)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

How beautiful! Thanks for sharing at NanaHood!
ReplyDeleteWonderful decorations. Love the festive mood.
ReplyDeleteHappy OWT!
I'd expect Dolce and Gabbana's window display to be spectacular but that is another level, just beautiful. So glad you persevered with the window photos, I agree they can be difficult!
ReplyDeleteI love window displays. I am old enough to remember when even small to medium size cities like Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Phoenix and such had them. The windows you show are spectacular. And yes shooting through glass is problematical and requires a bit of strategy and thought which you obviously did. If you hadn't mentioned the colors I would never have noticed.
ReplyDeleteOh my! These window displays are gorgeous!!! Happy to feature your post this week at Share Your Style #234, thank you! <3
ReplyDeleteMy cousin goes to NYC each Christmas time and shares some of the amazing sites around town on FB. I love seeing them all!!! My one and only trip to NYC was when I was an exchange student at age 19 (1981) and it was fun to walk everywhere and peer in shop windows.
Have a great week,
Barb :)
